Haakon Jakobsen Wins National Exchange Program Gratitude Award

Exchange students at Sugar-Salem High School bring many benefits to the school, and Haakon Jakobsen has been one of them. In addition to being an excellent student and a participant in extra-curricular activities, Haakon was one of five exchange students chosen in the country for the EF Exchange Program Gratitude Award. To date, no exchange student in Idaho has ever won the award. Haakon’s award came with an opportunity for him to choose a charity to donate $500 to, and he chose the Family Crisis Center.

Congratulations Haakon, and thanks!
