Meeting 1: “READY”

These live, interactive workshops are for anyone just starting a career with a PERSI employer. They provide a general overview of what PERSI is, how new members can take charge of their long-term benefits now, and the life-long value those benefits represent, as well as a live tour of the resources available on the PERSI website. These workshops are available at PERSI employer sites throughout the state of Idaho.

​Meeting 1 will be March 6, 2018 at the High School auditorium from 3:15-4:15 PM

Meeting 2: “SET”

These live, interactive workshops are intended for those in mid-career with a PERSI employer. They focus on how vesting changes PERSI benefits, what to consider in planning for retirement, the importance of PERSI membership, how participating in a defined contribution plan can save members tax dollars now while increasing their overall lifetime benefit, where to find calculators and other resources on the PERSI website, and the lifetime of financial security that PERSI offers. These workshops are available at PERSI employer sites throughout the state of Idaho.

Meeting 2 will be March 6, 2018 at the High School auditorium from 4:15-5:15PM

Meeting 3: “GO”

These live, interactive workshops are designed for late-career PERSI members who may be approaching or contemplating retirement. They may include member-specific benefit estimates and cover topics such as how to pick a retirement option and choose a contingent annuitant, how to complete the retirement application process, what to do about PERSI and taxes, how to plan and request Choice 401(k) Plan distributions, and what options retirees have for working in retirement. These workshops are available at PERSI employer sites and off-site locations throughout the state of Idaho.
