Ben Summers is finishing up his first year in the district maintenance department at Sugar-Salem. Although many of us don’t get the chance to visit much with Mr. Summers as he is constantly rushing from one maintenance project to another, his efforts are not lost on us. He helps to keep our furnaces functioning in the winter, clears our snow from parking lots and sidewalks, and repairs all the other conveniences that we take for granted—think lights, doors, and anything electrical. Comments from faculty and staff include: “He always seems positive and willing to help,” “He rushes over to help us as soon as he gets the call,” and “ It is clear to me that he takes pride in his work and helping others.”
Away from work Ben Summers manages his family ranch in Ririe raising bucking bulls for regional rodeos. He does get away from work here and at home to enjoy some quality time camping as well.
Thanks for all you do and the positive influence you have on us all!
