Additional Information: We would like to propose that the district increases the driver's education fee from $100.00 to $125.00. The district needs to generate sufficient funds to replace a car in the future. We are currently not generating sufficient funds to make this possible. Additional Information: The District has been advised by the state that the price for adult breakfast must be increased to $2.15. Since this is more than 5% we have advertised in the local paper. Here is the ad put in the paper: NOTICE OF FEE INCREASE The Sugar-Salem Jt. School District No. 322, Madison/Fremont Counties has proposed to increase its adult breakfast price by an amount that exceeds one hundred five percent (105%) of the fee charged last year. The proposed increase will be $2.15 per adult breakfast. The fee charged the previous year was $1.65 per adult breakfast. This represents a 30% increase. The cost of food, supplies, and labor has increased which necessitates the fee increase. Any adult buying breakfast at any of our schools will be subject to this fee increase. All citizens are invited to attend a public hearing on the increased fee request. The hearing will be held on August 3, 2016 at 7:00 pm at the Sugar-Salem District Office located at 105 W. Center St., Sugar City, Idaho.
