Additional Information: The transportation department is requesting approvals for this years safety busing. There are four areas of safety busing in the district. They have > been developed with the use of a scoring instrument to measure the safety concerns of the students walking to and from school, verses riding the bus. These areas are reviewed and scored every two years by our district then sent to the state department of education for their approval. We will do this process again in March of this year. We are also requesting the approval of the regular bus routes. They are the same as last year with only enough changes to accommodate new students. There may be the need to do minor adjustments for load capacity of the buses after school has started. There will be four backup turn arounds, two in Plano, one on 6000 North, one on 400 North, one on 3000 East between Sugar City and Teton City, and one at 188 North 2900nEast in St.Anthony. There are seven pull through turn arounds on private property with the permission of the property owners. Further Safety Busing information is attached. Jeff Luthy Transportation supervisor

Additional Information: The Professional Exempt Salary Schedule is a new schedule based on our need to pay a different rate for those people who hold appropriate degrees in service to our Medicaid eligible students. Both areas shown are paid from district Medicaid funds not from M&O. It is called the Professional EXEMPT Salary Schedule because, unlike a Certificated staff member (teacher), there is no contract involved.
