Additional Information: This month we are starting something new, a way to honor our Classified employees, called Partners Who Have a Positive Influence. Our first winner is Janet Anderson, Secretary at Central Elementary. Janet has been the secretary at Central Elementary for the past 12 years. Janet lives in Lyman with her husband Kit. She has 4 married children and 12 grandchildren. Janet says: “I enjoy interacting with all the students and see their smiling faces. I try to see each child as a person who deserves respect as much as any parent or staff member. Working at Central Elementary is a dream come true!” Here is what some of her colleagues have said: Janet Anderson makes our school wonderful! She takes the time to know names (student as well as teacher) and she is always friendly! Janet has the unique ability to make sure students and staff alike feel like they are the most important part of our school! A big THANK YOU for all you do!! Janet is always positive and helpful with whatever I need. Janet is amazing! She is the glue that holds us all together, and she never seems stressed while being the "second mom" to both children and staff. Janet is always on top of things. She immediately responds to my needs wherever whenever I need her. She is totally awesome. I love working with Janet Anderson. Janet is the best and we are so glad to have her working in our district. Mrs. Anderson will be awarded a dinner for two at the local Applebees Restaurant.
