On Thursday at about 6:30 the Sugar Salem High Altitude Research Team launched a weather balloon. The altitude it reached was around 85,000 to 90,000 feet above sea level. That is more than twice as high as airlines fly and is in near space like conditions. Click to see pictures and more information about the balloon flight!
Sugar-Salem High School's FFA is holding their annual Greenhouse Plant Sale. The plants available are zinnias, dahlias, delphinium, marigolds, sweet peas, allysum, tomatoes, and bell peppers. Doors will open at 8 AM on Saturday, May 19th.

Students from all over southern Idaho entered art projects and our junior high students came away with 20 awards! Cael Neeley and Alex Christean earned $50 each for their first place entries. The Junior High Division includes students in the 7th, 8th, and 9th grades.
